Roles & Responsibility
- Oversee the performance of a manufacturing sector through effective team leadership and structured supervisory practices.
- Align resources to operational needs across short‑ and medium‑term horizons; develop training plans and ensure successful execution of standardized work; lead Short Interval Management (SIM) and escalate issues when needed.
- Lead and coordinate daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- Plan and allocate workload based on the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and customer priorities.
- Ensure strict adherence to all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace through effective 5S practices.
- Monitor product quality, support root‑cause analysis efforts, and implement corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous improvement.
- Coach, motivate, and develop production team members; plan and facilitate training to strengthen multi‑skilled workforce capability.
- Facilitate daily operational reviews to communicate performance updates, challenges, and improvement actions.
- Partner closely with Quality, Facilities, Maintenance, Technical Support, Warehouse, New Product Development (NPD), and Production Planning teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Contribute actively to Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, productivity, and process optimization.
- Maintain accurate and timely production documentation, including scrap reports, downtime logs, and other required records.
