Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Counsellor cum MIS Executive to support candidate counseling, enrollment, and MIS management activities under the PLTP Skill Project. The candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective trainees, maintaining project data, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate documentation as per project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Counseling & Candidate Support
- Counsel prospective candidates regarding available training programs, career opportunities, and placement prospects.
- Guide candidates through the admission and enrollment process.
- Conduct orientation sessions and address trainee queries.
- Follow up with candidates to ensure enrollment and retention.
- Coordinate with mobilizers and trainers for smooth batch formation.
MIS & Documentation
- Maintain trainee databases, attendance records, assessment records, and placement data.
- Prepare and update daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of project-related reports.
- Manage candidate documentation and verify records as per project guidelines.
- Maintain digital and physical records for audits and compliance purposes.
- Support data entry, report generation, and project tracking activities.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with the Center Manager, trainers, mobilizers, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor trainee progress and update relevant records.
- Ensure compliance with project documentation and reporting requirements.
- Assist during assessments, inspections, and audits.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma/Certification in Computer Applications, MIS, Administration, or related fields will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in counseling, MIS, administration, data management, admissions, or skill development projects.
- Experience in government-funded skill development programs will be an added advantage.
