Assistant Manager: Stores, Inventory & Asset Management
Role Objective: To manage and control company assets, stores, inventory, material movement, and physical verification across multiple Vision India locations.
Key Responsibilities
ü Maintain updated asset register with asset code, location, user, condition, invoice, warranty, and status.
ü Manage store records including material received, issued, transferred, returned, damaged, and scrapped.
ü Ensure proper inward/outward documentation, GRN, issue slips, return slips, and transfer forms.
ü Track assets issued to employees, branches, projects, and departments.
ü Coordinate with locations for monthly asset and stock updates.
ü Conduct periodic physical verification of assets and inventory.
ü Identify and report missing, damaged, untagged, unused, or mismatched assets.
ü Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, IT, HR, Admin, and location teams.
ü Support asset tagging, barcoding, repairs, warranty, AMC, and disposal process.
ü Prepare monthly MIS reports on asset movement, stock balance, discrepancies, and pending actions.
