Key Responsibilities
1. Workshop Operations Management
- Supervise day-to-day workshop activities
- Ensure proper job allocation to technicians based on skill level
- Monitor ongoing repairs and ensure adherence to timelines
- Maintain smooth workflow and avoid bottlenecks
2. Productivity & Efficiency
- Monitor technician productivity and efficiency
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower and workshop resources
- Reduce vehicle turnaround time (TAT)
- Support quick diagnosis and repair resolution
3. Quality Control
- Ensure repairs are done as per OEM standards
- Conduct final inspection before vehicle delivery
- Minimize repeat repairs and comebacks
- Maintain high service quality standards
4. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with Service Advisors for job updates and delivery timelines
- Communicate repair progress and issues to relevant teams
- Support customer handling in case of escalations
5. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure workshop safety practices and use of PPE
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping (5S standards)
- Ensure compliance with company and OEM policies
6. Spare Parts & Tools Management
- Coordinate with spare parts team for timely availability of parts
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Prevent misuse or damage of workshop assets
