Key Responsibilities
1. Warranty Claim Management
- Prepare and submit warranty claims as per OEM guidelines
- Verify job cards, parts usage, and labour details before claim submission
- Ensure timely submission to avoid claim expiry
- Track claim status and follow up for approvals
2. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain proper documentation (job cards, invoices, failed parts records)
- Ensure adherence to OEM warranty policies and procedures
- Conduct audits and ensure readiness for OEM inspections
- Maintain warranty registers and digital records
3. Coordination with Service Team
- Work closely with Service Advisors and Technicians for correct fault diagnosis
- Ensure proper coding of complaints and repair procedures
- Guide team on warranty eligibility and claim processes
4. Parts Handling & Return
- Ensure proper tagging, storage, and return of defective parts to OEM
- Maintain records of replaced parts under warranty
- Coordinate with spare parts department for warranty parts
5. Claim Analysis & Improvement
- Analyze rejected claims and identify root causes
- Implement corrective actions to reduce rejection rate
- Provide training to service staff on warranty norms
