Job Description:-
Warehouse In-charge / Store Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:-
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including material receipt, storage, issuance, DISCOM lab testing, and dispatch.
- Maintain hard copy and soft copy with accurate records of inventory transactions (inward/outward) and monitored stock levels.
- Ensure proper stacking, labelling, and identification of materials within the warehouse.
- Prepare store requisitions and material request documentation.
- Conduct weekly, fortnightly, and monthly reconciliations with vendors.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Verify materials against packing lists, invoices, and Shipping Release Notes (SRN)
- Coordinated with state teams and site supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Liaisoning with OEMs for material dispatch, receipt, and availability.
- Supervise warehouse staff and optimized workforce productivity.
- Implement and maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory control methodology.
- Conduct periodic stock audits, inventory reviews, and reconciliations.
- Manage scrap handling, material accounting, and reconciliation for vendor-managed stores.
- Collection and return of faulty materials to concerned OEMs
- Perform WFM-related activities, including GRN processing and PDI tracking.
- Maintain effective communication with CI/MI vendors for operational coordination.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Coordination with transporters for dispatch of materials for various locations
- Share MIS report on weekly/twice a week to SCM lead regarding the stock and issuance status
- Other miscellaneous work related to project implementation.
- Need to keep track on bill payments related to warehouse like Rent, electricity bill, etc.
