Job Title: Sales Manager – MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions)

Job Summary
The Sales Manager – MICE is responsible for driving revenue through the acquisition, development, and management of MICE business. This role focuses on building strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and other stakeholders to maximize MICE opportunities and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, target, and acquire new MICE clients and accounts.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow MICE revenue.
- Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, and pricing for MICE events.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, DMCs, and travel partners.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site inspections.
- Act as the primary point of contact from lead generation through event execution.
Event Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate closely with operations, banquet, and events teams to ensure seamless delivery of MICE events.
- Ensure client requirements are clearly communicated and executed to satisfaction.
- Handle post-event follow-ups, feedback, and repeat business opportunities.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments in the MICE segment.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
Marketing & Promotion
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, roadshows, and networking events.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional campaigns and sales collateral for MICE.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in MICE sales, hospitality sales, or corporate event management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the MICE segment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple accounts/events.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
