Position Title: Project Manager – Skilling CSR Project
Location: Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh
Reporting To: CSR Head
Project: CSR Project – Skilling & Livelihood Initiative
Experience: 2-4 Years
Role Purpose
The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of the Skilling CSR project, including planning, implementation, execution, monitoring, reporting, and project closure, in strict adherence to approved project proposals, donor guidelines, and agreed terms & conditions. The role ensures timely delivery of outcomes, optimal utilization of resources, and measurable impact as defined by CSR Partner.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Project Planning & Implementation
- Lead overall project implementation and execution as per approved CSR proposal, timelines, and budgets
- Prepare detailed project implementation plans, quarterly milestones, and activity schedules
- Ensure alignment of field execution with CSR Partner CSR objectives and compliance requirements
Stakeholder & Donor Management
- Act as the single point of contact for CSR Partner at the project location
- Coordinate with internal teams, training partners, vendors, and local stakeholders
- Support donor visits, audits, reviews, and impact assessments
Skilling & Training Operations
- Oversee mobilization, enrollment, training delivery, assessment, certification, and placement/linkages
- Ensure quality of training delivery as per defined curriculum and SOPs
- Monitor trainer performance and center-level operations
Monitoring, MIS & Reporting
- Track project progress against physical and financial targets
- Ensure accurate and timely MIS reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and milestone reports
- Prepare presentations, dashboards, and impact reports for donor review
- Maintain complete project documentation for audits and compliance
Financial & Compliance Management
- Monitor project budgets and ensure cost control as per CSR approvals
- Ensure adherence to statutory, CSR, and organizational compliance norms
- Support internal and external audits, utilization certificates, and financial closures
Risk Management & Problem Solving
- Identify project risks and operational challenges and propose mitigation plans
- Address field-level issues related to mobilization, attendance, dropouts, and placements
- Ensure continuity of operations without deviation from agreed deliverables
Project Closure & Knowledge Management
- Ensure timely and compliant project closure, including final reports and documentation
- Capture best practices, learnings, and success stories
- Support impact evaluation and sustainability planning, if applicable
Educational Qualification
- Graduate / MBA (Preference for candidates with exposure to CSR, social sector, or skilling projects)
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Effective presentation skills for donor and leadership reviews
- Basic working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Good computer literacy and comfort with digital tools/MIS systems
- Project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Problem-solving and execution-oriented mindset
Experience (Preferred)
- 2–4 years of experience in CSR, skilling, livelihood, or development projects
- Experience working with corporate foundations / CSR donors will be an added advantage
- Exposure to district or block-level project implementation preferred
