Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Training Sessions: Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to fitters and fabricators, focusing on fabrication techniques, safety procedures, and quality control.
2. Develop Curriculum and Materials: Create and update training materials, curriculum, and assessments for fitters and fabricators, ensuring alignment with industry standards, organizational requirements, and fabrication processes.
3. Assess Trainee Competency: Evaluate trainees' knowledge and skills through regular assessments, quizzes, and practical exercises, providing constructive feedback to support their progress in fabrication operations.
4. Stay Updated on Industry Best Practices: Remain current with best practices in fabrication, incorporating innovative methods, technologies, and industry trends to enhance training effectiveness.
5. Tailor Training Programs: Adapt training programs to accommodate different learning styles, levels, and objectives, ensuring each trainee achieves their training goals in fabrication operations.
6. Promote Safe and Efficient Operations: Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and productivity in fabrication operations, emphasizing proper tooling, material handling, and quality control procedures.
7. Maintain Accurate Records: Keep detailed records of trainee progress, attendance, and certification status, ensuring compliance with organizational requirements and regulatory standards.
8. Communicate Effectively: Engage with stakeholders, including trainees, management, and production teams, to understand their needs and preferences, providing regular progress updates and feedback.
9. Coordinate with Other Trainers: Collaborate with fellow trainers and production teams to ensure a cohesive training strategy, sharing best practices and resources.
10. Gather Feedback and Improve: Collect feedback from trainees and stakeholders to refine training programs, content, and delivery methods, driving continuous improvement in fabrication operations.
