The Role: Sr. Manager – Fooding & Lodging Facilities will oversee the end-to-end management of residential skill development centers, ensuring efficient fooding, lodging, and facility management while maintaining budget discipline and operational excellence. The role will focus on optimizing costs, improving service quality, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fooding & Catering Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end fooding services at multiple residential skill development centers.
- Ensure quality, hygiene, and nutrition compliance as per government and organizational standards.
- Develop and implement meal plans, ensuring cost-effective procurement of raw materials.
- Manage contracts with food suppliers and caterers, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to improve food quality and variety for trainees.
2. Lodging & Accommodation Management:
- Ensure proper allocation of rooms, hygiene, and maintenance at residential centers.
- Oversee housekeeping and sanitation services, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health standards.
- Plan and execute facility upgrades, infrastructure maintenance, and expansion projects.
- Optimize space utilization and ensure a comfortable living experience for trainees.
3. Budgeting & P&L Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for fooding and lodging operations across multiple locations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
- Implement financial controls, track expenses, and ensure adherence to allocated budgets.
- Monitor vendor payments, negotiations, and contract renewals for cost-effectiveness.
4. Operational Efficiency & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to government safety, hygiene, and food licensing regulations.
- Conduct audits to assess compliance with health and sanitation guidelines.
- Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce food wastage and energy consumption.
- Develop emergency preparedness plans, including fire safety and evacuation drills.
5. Vendor & Team Management:
- Build and manage a high-performing team handling fooding, lodging, and facility management.
- Establish strong vendor partnerships and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct training sessions for food service staff, housekeeping teams, and security personnel.
- Collaborate with government authorities for approvals, inspections, and compliance.
6. Employee & Trainee Engagement:
- Address concerns and feedback from trainees regarding fooding and lodging services.
- Conduct regular satisfaction surveys and implement improvements based on responses.
- Organize awareness sessions on hygiene, health, and safety standards.
Key Metrics for Success:
- Cost optimization & budget adherence across fooding and lodging services.
- High trainee satisfaction scores for accommodation and food quality.
