Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic aerospace team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing technologies, materials, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Development: Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes for aerospace components, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to reduce costs, enhance productivity, and improve product quality.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implementing solutions.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish inspection protocols and ensure compliance with aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA regulations).
Tooling and Equipment: Evaluate and select appropriate tooling and equipment, working with suppliers to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flows, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, production staff, and supply chain teams to facilitate seamless manufacturing operations.
Project Management: Lead or participate in engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
