Job Profile- IBS (Integrated Building Services) Technician cum Rigger
Key roles and responsibilities:
1. Maintenance of Passive and Active Equipments:
- · Passive- Power related equipment’s like Power plant, Battery bank inverter, junction box
- · Active- L2 Switch, BTS/ Enode-B, RAD switch, L1 Trouble shooting of the transmission equipment & routers, router alarms trouble shooting & hardware faults replacement.
2. Installation and Maintenance of Building Services:
- · Install, maintain, and repair integrated building systems such as HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), plumbing, electrical systems, and fire protection systems.
- ·Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and building codes.
3. Rigging Operations:
- Handle and operate rigging equipment like cranes, hoists, and winches for lifting and positioning heavy components.
- Ensure proper rigging techniques to safely and efficiently move materials and equipment.
4. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve issues with building services systems.
- Provide technical support during system installations, maintenance, and repairs.
5. Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures related to both rigging and building services operations.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance work, and inspections.
- Prepare reports on system performance, repairs, and any incidents that occur.
7. Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that building systems are integrated smoothly into the overall project.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues encountered.
8. Quality Control:
- Inspect and test systems to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- Implement corrective actions when necessary to address any deviations from standards.
9. Training and Development:
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in building services and rigging.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians or team members as needed.
