The incumbent is key to driving growth, profitability, value creation & preservation, financial strategy and best in class Corporate Governance for the company & its subsidiaries. S/He would be responsible for the achievement of overall Financial goals of the companies, in collaboration with the Leadership Team.
1. Assist in the corporate planning process and maintaining strategic direction by regularly reviewing and analyzing business financial performance.
2. Provide advice and counsel to management regarding tax related matters, project cost estimation & reporting and other risk factors to achieve desired business results.
To ensure complete financial management and accounting services including budgeting and financial control in accordance with statutory requirements, corporate policies and procedures.
Shape & Drive Business Strategy and Plans
1. Drive the development of a financing strategy that supports growth & optimizes profitability across business lines.
2. Formulate financial objectives and budgets for the company in coordination with all other departments with periodic assessment of variations in actual performance and timely action to achieve/exceed the financial targets.
3. Lead all other finance related initiatives in collaboration with the leadership team for long term growth of the Company.
4. Advisory Role: Providing appropriate advice to Finance Controller & function heads to ensure that the financial matters of the companies are being handled in efficient and effective manner.
Decision Support & Business Performance Management
1. Complete analysis of all business lines’ monthly financial and business performance reports with a view to provide explanations for variances from budget, forecast and prior period actual data.
2. Analysis of the business units’ operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs and Maximize revenue & PAT.
3. Build robust management information systems for timely and effective feedback to the leadership team.
4. Set up effective internal control systems and processes in the companies and ensure internal audits across all business lines.
5. Review the Operational and Capital Expenditure, assist in monthly and quarterly forecasting.
Finance & Accounts
1. Achieve budgeted financial targets (Revenues, EBIDTA, Cash from Ops, Overheads as a percentage of revenues etc.)
2. Supervise the accounts team and oversee the timely preparation of financial statements and financial reports.
3. Preparation of Financial Statements as per accounting standards. Oversee the publishing of Financial Results as per statutory requirements on Quarterly and Annual basis.
4. Management of Financial Resources: Ensuring efficient management and optimum utilization of Company’s Financial Resources
Treasury & Working Capital Management
1. Liaise with banks and financial institutions for raising fund and non-fund based finance to meet working capital and capex requirements and effective Working Capital and Cash Flow Management.
2. Provide for the Raising and Deployment of funds efficiently and reducing cost of funds.
3. Coordinate with stakeholder to optimize procurement & operational expenses.
Functional excellence & People
1. To ensure the overall compliance with various Corporate Laws with respect to all companies.
2. Ensuring proper and timely compliance with Statutory Requirements & Liaison with Government Authorities.
3. Ensuring that appropriate Internal Control System are in place at various touch points to prevent loss of financial resources, GAP Analysis of the SOPs and Internal Controls on periodic basis.
4. Own up recruitment of qualified & competent personnel in the department
5. Ensure timely goal setting, monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback for team
Oversee capability building for the team and mentor and groom high-potential team
