JOB PURPOSE:
As the Vice President of Revenue Strategy and Sales, a key member of the executive leadership, the incumbent will play a pivotal role towards driving revenue growth and profitability. The incumbent will oversee sales, marketing, business operations and the P&L, providing strategic direction, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with the company's performance goals and objectives.
As part of our succession planning and leadership development strategy, the Vice President will initially assume the responsibilities of a Vice President of Revenue with a clear path to becoming the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) within the next 2 years. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President will receive mentorship and training to prepare for this transition and will play a pivotal role in shaping our revenue strategy and growth."
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Strategy:
A. Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
B. Identify new revenue opportunities and market expansion strategies.
C. Analyze market trends and customer insights to drive revenue growth.
Sales Leadership:
A. Lead and mentor the sales team to maximize revenue generation.
B. Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales goals.
C. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Marketing Strategy:
A. Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, product positioning pricing strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
B. Analyze marketing performance metrics & product adoption rates to realign marketing and pricing strategies as needed.
Business Operations:
A. Optimize operational processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
B. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Profit & Loss Responsibility:
A. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to achieve profitability targets.
B. Identify cost-rationalizing opportunities and revenue-enhancing strategies.
C. Analyze financial data and KPIs to make informed decisions and adjustments.
Strategic Leadership:
A. Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to shape the company's overall strategic direction.
B. Participate in the development of long-term goals and objectives.
C. Evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and investments.
D. Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape.
