Job Purpose:
With Human Resource services, processes & solutions at the core of the entity, the role holder will be responsible to infuse life to the Human resource strategy of the entity, ensuring the positive ripples at the tactical & operational levels. The incumbent has to be a Business manager, scope the divergent business realities, for employees / associates and deploy the human resource levers to deliver the business goals. S/He would hold the can for the complete accountability of the Human resource function, manage the same as a profit center while ensuring a superlative and constantly improving employment experience for all the employees/associates. The incumbent would work on upstream & downstream integration model, cutting across business verticals to deliver a higher synergy besides a clear positive impact on the profitability of the entity.
The role incumbent would be deft in a start-up like environment and brings to fore, a strong challenger mind-set with proven abilities to influence peers across the eco-system and deliver a higher quality quantity mix for talent acquisition. The right incumbent would have challenges for the breakfast & solutions for the dinner besides thriving on consistently building up the collaboration amongst all stake holders, all day.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;
Strategic:
ü Create & own the execution white paper for the HR strategy for Vision India & its subsidiaries.
ü Collaborate with Business heads & vertical leads to ensure adequate calibration of the HR needs bespoke to each one.
ü Create & own the execution of the Talent blueprint built up on Attract, Retain, Develop & Excite pillars.
Operational:
ü Drive success of the people processes including onboarding, Induction, Target setting, Performance management, Variable pay, Reward & Recognition, Learning & development and other life cycle management policies & practices.
ü Undertake benchmarking exercises to align talent practices with the best practices in the industry.
ü Own the employee communication, online & offline to positively impact the employee engagement & employer branding.
ü Deliver a consistent VI employee experience across all units and locations of the company, through the creation of strong HR processes and governance
ü Reward, Recognition, Incentive, Productivity & Performance pay policies which are aggressive & pragmatically aligned to business realities.
ü Create & institutionalize the relevant process & policy framework. Educate all impacted parties & institutionalize.
ü Create, cascade & deliver aggressive ERC budget KPIs & numbers, Month over month to ensure a revenue stream for the HR function.
ü Talent blending & diversity plans.
ü Create a KPI driven performance dashboard for the vertical, Self & the Team.
ü Automation – Own up the design & integration of the automation of functionalities & tools required to deliver for the HR function.
ü Analytics & MIS for the vertical – Periodic & evolving. Data centric dashboard. Statutory reporting, as applicable.
ü Support Leadership/Critical hiring initiatives, as necessary for VISPL ensuring adequate utilization of the bandwidth/competence.
ü Lead the EVP initiatives, building campaigns to ensure a higher EVP for the entity & its subsidiaries.
Financial:
ü Ensure adherence to the operating budgets & subsequent reduction in cost, improvement of profitability.
ü Evolving Revenue stream planning, standalone profitability for the HR team.
ü Functional inputs to F & A team for Book keeping, closing & compliances.
People:
ü Recruit & hire the requisite talent for the team.
ü Create & manage a Pay for Performance culture, create incentive plans enabling the team to improve their earnings thru higher contribution.
ü Ensure timely goal setting, monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members
ü Oversee capability building for the team and mentor and groom high-potential team members.
ü Close coordination with other functions & teams ensuring adequate alignment & enablement to the HR agenda.
